Specifications for CYPD ver2

  • Lets base this on the principles of any statement of requirements (SOR) :- Must have(1), Should have(2) and could have(3).
  1. Separate admin section with full user/group management (1)
  2. Admin section must allow (within the capabilities of the group profile) the CrUD of all aspects of the model. (1)
  3. Full audit capabilities for all admin related work (1)
  4. Reporting package (2)
  5. Creation and update time stamps on all objects in the database (1)
  6. Simple interface that can take a customised (UK Spelling!) CSS sheet.
 Easy peasy so far?

For the frontend I was thinking of the following:

  • Separate frontends for the following clients :
    • 7-11 yrs old (3)
    • 11-14 yrs old (1)
    • 14-16 yrs old (1)
    • > 16 yrs old (2)
    • Parents / carers (1)
    • Practitioners (2)

Each will have a different look and feel and may have functionality specific to that group. Login and session information may be a want.. but lets see..

While were at it we may as well define a need for RSS feeds on most aspects of the application (3).

I cant think of anything else at the moment.. Next we will look at the individual tables and their meanings.
