Change the default LAN address settings.
change in /etc/config/networking
~# uci commit networking
~# /etc/init.d/network restart
Allow access to a bridged modem
Give the interface connected to the modem an IP address from the net the modem expects to be connected from (in this instance, 192.168.1.254)
~# ifconfig eth0.1 192.168.1.1
You can now access the modem's interface *from* the OpenWRT router. If you want access from behind the router you need to configure iptables http://wiki.openwrt.org/doc/howto/access.modem.through.nat
Bridged modem shows full adsl stats with a
adsl info expand=enabled
